Rachel takes the same train to the same place everyday. She knows it will wait at the same signal each time, overlooking a row of back gardens. Once there, her gaze starts searching for a particular house occupied by a couple whom she envisions as a perfect pair. She has even named them as “Jess and Jason”.
She desires to be a part of their life. If only she could, until one day she sees something shocking. Though just for a minute before her train jerks again, what Rachel has witnessed at that same signal is enough for her to get involved in the puddles of a dark mystery.
What happens next is a puzzle which when unfolds will dig out the deepest secrets of her own life.
I know I haven’t given a detailed review of this book compared to my other reviews. This is because I loved this book so much that I didn’t want to exploit your excitement of reading it by sharing anything more than the core story line.
An amazing thriller, The Girl On The Train is GRIPPING like anything. I loved the writing style, very creative yet subtle.
Highly recommended to fiction lovers. You will surely find it different from all the other thrillers.
If you have read it already, would love to know your views on the book as well on my work!
